This is my first journal entry. Also, my seventh day stuck at home because of the blizzard warning. Seven months in this country—not sure if I should still call it unfamiliar. I’ve seen the autumn leaves, watched the seasons change. Now, as the snow keeps falling, my thoughts settle into the same quiet stillness.
Lately, I’ve been thinking—how do I record my existence? Social media is too loud, too fast. The average adult’s attention span is 8.25 seconds. What I want to keep isn’t just the “highlight reel” of life but the small, scattered thoughts that probably mean nothing to anyone else but feel 100% important to me.
So, this space will be where I share my photography, my writing, my thoughts on books, movies, and music—whatever lingers in my mind.
Maybe this long winter is just a chance for me to slow down and really listen to myself.
